Biography
My creative path has been shaped by a lifelong connection to color, texture, and design. After spending many years working in the fashion industry—where I honed a deep appreciation for textiles, structure, and visual storytelling—I eventually made the leap to pursue my art full-time.
Now based in Greystones, County Wicklow, my practice is deeply rooted in the wild beauty of the Irish landscape. Moving from the structured world of fashion into the expressive freedom of abstract painting has allowed me to translate the tactile, rich qualities of my surroundings directly onto the canvas.
Artist Statement
My work is inspired by the landscape and coastline of County Wicklow, where daily walks outdoors shape my creative direction. I create large-scale abstract paintings using mixed media alongside natural and beachcombed materials, such as sand, dried seaweed, and reclaimed fishing rope. By combining these textures, my current work focuses on capturing the character of the local environment and creating a tactile connection to nature.
