We hope this message finds you well. We write to inform you about a potential phishing email scam that has been reported. It has come to our attention that some artists have received emails claiming that an art piece was ordered and providing instructions to follow for payment.
Please be advised that these emails are NOT from Irish Artmart. We do not use the @gmail.com for any official communication. This is a phishing attempt aimed at gathering sensitive information or potentially compromising your security.
To ensure the safety and security of your personal and financial information, we urge you to take the following actions:
Do not engage: Do not respond to the email or follow any instructions provided in the message.
Delete the email: Please delete the email immediately to prevent any accidental clicks on potentially harmful links.
Use official channels: Irish Artmart exclusively transacts through the secure Stripe payment system. Any official communication regarding transactions will come from a legitimate Irish Artmart email address ending in @irishartmart.ie.
Verify communication: If you ever receive an email that seems suspicious or if you are unsure of its authenticity, please contact us directly through our official channels to verify its legitimacy.

Payment Process and Shipping Guidelines on Irish Artmart
This is a crucial notification regarding the payment process and shipping procedures for artworks sold on Irish Artmart.
Payment Transactions via Stripe.com: All transactions on Irish Artmart are facilitated through the secure payment platform Stripe.com. It ensures a safe and reliable payment experience for both buyers and sellers.
Notification from Irish Artmart: Upon the successful sale of your artwork, you will receive a notification email from Irish Artmart (in**@ir**********.ie). This email will contain details about the sale and instructions on how to proceed.
Setting Up Automatic Payments with Stripe: For efficient payment processing, we recommend setting up an account with Stripe for automatic payments. If you do not have an active Stripe account configured for automatic payments, the funds from the sale will be temporarily held in the Irish Artmart Stripe account until you do so.
Shipping Guidelines: Please refrain from shipping your sold artwork until you receive a confirmation of payment. You can set your own shipping rates conveniently through your Irish Artmart dashboard.
Caution Regarding 3rd Party Emails: Exercise caution with any third-party emails claiming payment. Genuine notifications will only be sent from Irish Artmart (in**@ir**********.ie). If you receive an email from a third party stating a payment was made and it is not confirmed by Irish Artmart, and you did not receive an official order confirmation, do not engage with the email. This is likely a scam, and your immediate attention is required.
