Description

In my abstracted style, this artwork is composed of patterns and memories of paint, layered to bring about a scene of a living room. drippy layers of paint splashed, rubbed and distressed. Then a duo of eclectic living rooms start to take shape. The new nested tables take pride of place on the stripy rug, with the delighted sun umbrella visible out the window.
I have used some metallic foil in this piece, helping it to become respond to light changes throughout the day.
This small artwork is beautifully balanced and composed. I’ve used acrylic paint in combination with fine detailing using both acrylic and watercolour pen and marker. I’ve used some metallic leaf that catches the light beautifully.

This piece will provoke thought and stir emotions in any space it inhabits.
