Description
The artwork’s distinct texture was created using black sand from Britta’s Bay, natural pigments and reclaimed netting. This artwork is on high quality stretched canvas and finished with a light satin varnish to protect from dust and sunlight.
During a dry Irish summer, I found sanctuary in the sheltering woods, wandering along slow,
narrowing riverbeds to gather fallen leaves and sun-baked fir needles.
Embedded directly into the textured layers, these gathered fragments carry the quiet warmth, earthy stillness, and solace of those sunlit forest walks.
