‘Nowhere Child’ depicts a lone child in a desolate landscape, symbolizing isolation, uncertainty, and the search for belonging. Through layered textures and fragmented imagery, this collage captures a sense of displacement—caught between worlds, unseen yet present. It speaks to the resilience of those lost in the in-between, searching for a place to call home.
The collage is shipped in a protective sleeve with a paper mount and a hard greyboard for backing. Collage is not framed.
Alina Slav is a Dublin-based artist working in painting, printmaking, and Joomchi, a traditional Korean paper-making technique. Her practice is an ongoing exploration of colour, texture, and emotion, weaving personal experiences into visual narratives. Through acrylic painting, she captures mood and transformation, while her printmaking adds depth to her artistic language. In Joomchi, she creates layered, tactile pieces that embody storytelling and material exploration. Continuously pushing creative boundaries, Alina’s work reflects a deep commitment to discovery and artistic expression.
