There are places in the Irish countryside that seem to exist just beyond the ordinary — where the light falls differently, the air feels older, and you half-expect something magical to stir in the shadows. Where the Fairies Live captures one such place: a quiet, weathered corner of the landscape that whispers of folklore and forgotten stories.

Breda O’Flaherty Studio is a dream come true. I’ve been an artist all my life; It all started in the front living room of my childhood home, drawing album covers while listening to music. Over time taking classes to build my skills as a painter and then graduating with a degree in interior design in 2014
My work looks to Ireland of the past but is rooted in the modern day. What do I mean by that? My pastel work focuses on the derelict buildings of humble origins — how they stand today, some crumbling, some restored. From cottages set in rural landscapes, and the quiet beauty of nature, each piece tells a story of place, time, and resilience.
I also work with acrylics on canvas and mixed media. My collections represent my passion. Each has work that embodies colour, nature, and a little bit of Ireland.
I hope my work brings you as much joy as it brings me to create it.

November 2025: I held my first solo Exhibition of my work Echoes of the Past
September 2025: With help from the Local Enterprise Office I attended the National Ploughing Competition in Co Offaly.
August 2025 – Appeared on Ireland AM promoting my work and the Local Enterprise Office
March 2025 I was awarded the Emerging Artist Funding from Cavan Arts

Any applicable taxes, duties, or fees
Irish Artmart provides the marketplace platform only and is not a party to transactions between buyers and artists.
Shipping methods, costs, and delivery times are set individually by each artist.
Artists are responsible for:
Packaging and dispatching artwork safely
Providing accurate shipping costs and timeframes
Handling customs declarations where applicable
Communicating any delays or issues with delivery
Irish Artmart is not responsible for shipping delays, loss, or damage, as all fulfilment is handled directly by the artist.
Returns, exchanges, and refunds are determined by each individual artist’s store policy.
Artists are responsible for:
Clearly stating whether returns are accepted
Managing refund or exchange requests
Handling issues related to damaged or incorrect items
Customers should contact the artist directly regarding any return or refund requests. Irish Artmart does not process returns or refunds on behalf of artists unless otherwise stated.
Irish Artmart acts solely as a hosting and marketplace platform. Each artist is an independent seller and is fully responsible for their store policies, transactions, and customer service.
