Description

While Wednesdays Child is full of woe, this concerned looking character has chosen a bright cheerful outfit, so hopefully her luck will turn around.
In this piece, I used acrylic and pen to capture raw human emotion with bold colors and textured layers. The central figure’s gaze invites contemplation, while the vibrant red figure in the background adds dynamic tension. I wanted to explore the complexity of presence and absence, creating an energy that feels both intimate and restless—bringing a unique, expressive aura to any space.
This is a painting in acrylic on canvas on board – the board is approx. 0.3 cm deep and as such this art is displayed leaning against a wall in a bookcase or nook. For wall mounting it would need a frame.
