Description
In this piece, I was trying to capture Isabella Rossellini from a Vogue cover shot, but it didn’t quite work out, as is the usual case. However I find the character that has evolved has a vibrant presence and will make someone a veritable companion.
This is a painting in acrylic on canvas on board – the board is approx. 0.3 cm deep and as such this art is displayed leaning against a wall in a bookcase or nook. For wall mounting it would need a frame.
I feel this piece captures the bold intensity of human expression through vibrant Fauvist color and dynamic pen lines. The layered acrylic backgrounds reflect emotional depth, while the figurative form emerges with raw energy. This artwork invites your space to feel both contemplative and alive, bridging inner complexity with striking visual confidence.
