Inspired by the skating of Rino Matsuike this unique sit spin painting captures the movement and emotion of her performance to Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker”. She skates like a flower opening in early spring. Her movements are fast, but perfectly balanced, gentle and precise. Let this artwork bring that energy into your home. Gráinne Nielsen is an oil painter who lives on the North West coast of Ireland, working from an impressively messy home studio. They spend the winter watching figure skating, the summers thinking about watching figure skating, and almost all of the rest of their time painting figure skating. Sometimes they paint other things they think are pretty, just to keep it fresh.

Shipping Policy

DO YOU DELIVER INTERNATIONALLY?

I offer worldwide shipping.

All orders are shipped using Duty Paid Delivery, however please note, we may be subject to various rules and restrictions in relation to some international deliveries and you may be subject to additional taxes and duties over which I have no control. If such cases apply, you are responsible for complying with the laws applicable to the country where you live and will be responsible for any such additional costs or taxes.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS DELAYED?

If delivery is delayed for any reason I will let you know as soon as possible and will advise you of a revised estimated date for delivery.

PACKAGING
Where possible I endeavor to use environmentally conscious packaging options. This varies from situation to situation but includes reusing packaging and using biodegradable plastic alternatives. However from time to time there may be occasions where it is not viable for me to use plastic alternatives without compromising the safety of the artwork in transit. This is most commonly in cases where plastic pallet wrap is required in order to protect a painting during shipping. Where possible I will use a compostable alterative, but this may not always be possible in the order processing time frame. In such cases I will prioritize the safety of the artwork in transit and shipping the artwork in the required time frame. If 100% biodegradable packaging is important to you please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email at [email protected] and I will give you a full list of packaging materials which will be used in the shipping of your order.

Return Policy

Return Window

You can return your purchased items within 30 days of receiving the order.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

Be in the same condition
Be in the original packaging where possible (internal packaging intact)

Return Process

To initiate a return, please email me at [email protected]. I will provide you with instructions on where to send your return.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Refunds

Once I receive and inspect your returned item, I will send you an email to confirm its receipt and notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied within 7 business days.
