Description
Inspired by a short Artist poem’s of the same name, this painting lets the seventh moon rise quietly over a hushed expanse of blue. There is no hurry and no cry only the moon returning, phase after phase, without complaint.
Across the top, a row of crescents cut from aged sheet music traces the moon’s slow cycle against a pale sky. Below, a band of weathered, sepia-toned paper meets a sweep of bold cerulean, scratched and scumbled so that chalky white shows through like old paint on a harbour door. Fine gold lines drift across the blue like forgotten sea routes, and two small gold dots hover above like distant stars. Torn scraps of yellowed music are scattered through the distressed blue below, where the musical horizon meets the silence and nobody asks what comes next.
Like the poem, the work is about cycles that open and close, and close and open again, and about the calm found within them. In that calm, the poem suggests, there is home.
Layered, textured and quietly nostalgic, it feels like a keepsake from another era: part songbook, part night sky, part sea. A lovely choice for coastal, vintage or eclectic interiors, and for anyone who finds peace in stillness..
” Seventh Moon ”
The seventh moon rises quietly
over the silent blue.
No hurry, no cry.
Phase after phase, it returns without complaint.
The musical horizon touches the silence.
No one asks what comes next.
The cycle opens and closes.
Closes and opens.
Peace in this blue.
And in the peace, HOME.
Sunlight_abstract art Born in Poland and based in Cork, Ireland since 2012. I am a self-taught abstract artist whose practice is grounded in the conviction that art is one of the most powerful forces for human transformation. Drawn to abstraction for its capacity to articulate what language cannot, my work gives form to the invisible: the rhythms of thought, the weight of memory, the texture of emotion. Each painting navigates the tension between chaos and harmony, where expansive, vibrant colour fields converge with quiet, deliberate marks to create immersive emotional landscapes. The result is work that does not dictate meaning, but instead opens a space for the viewer to encounter their own. My practice is rooted in intuition and spontaneity. Working primarily with acrylics, I allow each composition to emerge organically shaped by energy, movement, and deep internal reflection rather than predetermined structure. This process is, in itself, an act of inner work; and it is my belief that the depth of that inner engagement is precisely what gives the work its capacity to move others. At the core of my artistic mission is a commitment to empower, uplift, and transform. My creation is not simply to be seen, but to create an impact to offer viewers an encounter that shifts perspective, stirs emotion, and invites a deeper way of seeing both the canvas and themselves. My work is abstract in form, personal in origin, and universal in resonance — a bridge between the inner world and the outer one, where feeling becomes visible and art becomes a catalyst for change.
