Description
“Passages”
They appear quietly, on an ordinary day —
which does not yet know it is a miracle.
They appear like gaps between breaths,
like doors invisible until you slow down.
These are passages leading inward,
to where the noise of the world falls silent
and the truth about ourselves begins.
Whether it is a storm tearing the sky apart,
or a hurricane of thoughts without direction,
or finally — silence, soft and full,
spreading like a milky river of calm.
The passages are always there.
They wait.
They are the key to presence,
to an awareness that needs no words.
And the little boats — drifting through our days —
are only signs, symbols of a journey
we travel again and again,
flowing through our own interior
toward that within us which has no shore.
I am self-taught abstract artist, born in Poland, based in Cork since 2012. I am drawn to abstraction because it allows me to express what cannot be said in words — the invisible rhythms of thought, memory and mood. The abstract I create focuses on the tension between chaos and harmony — contrasting vibrant colour fields with subtle marks. Each painting is an emotional landscape, inviting the viewer to interpret their own meaning through colour, form, and texture. My process is rooted in intuition, emotion, and spontaneity. Working primarily with acrylics, I let each painting evolve organically, guided by movement, energy, and internal reflection rather than pre-planned composition. The result is a body of work that explores transformation, presence, and the unseen dimensions of human experience. Ultimately, my goal is to create visual experiences that evoke curiosity, reflection, and emotional resonance. I see my art as a bridge between inner feeling and outer form — abstract, but deeply personal.
