The legend of Papá Liborio has been shared with Dominican generations since before he was slain in 1922 by the US Marines during the 1916 – 1924 occupation in the Southern mountains of the Dominican Republic.
A religious and political leader, he was seen as a healer with magic powers who was followed by many devotees who called themselves “Los Liboristas”. He is part of the Dominican strength and desire for independence.

1. The Works
All original paintings and Everydays goods sold through this website are one of a kind. Colours may vary slightly between screens. Dimensions are provided for each work and are as accurate as possible.
2. Pricing and Payment
Prices are listed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely through [Webador / Stripe / PayPal — insert your payment processor]. I reserve the right to cancel an order if a pricing error has occurred, in which case a full refund will be issued.
3. Shipping
I ship from Ireland. Shipping times and costs are indicated at checkout. All works are carefully packaged. I am not responsible for delays caused by customs, couriers, or circumstances beyond my control, but I will assist in resolving any issues where possible.
4. Intellectual Property
All artwork created by Y.L.R. remains my intellectual property. Purchase of a work transfers ownership of the physical piece only — it does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use images of the work for commercial purposes without my written permission.
5. Commissions
Commission enquiries are welcome by appointment. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work. The balance is due on completion, before delivery. I will share progress images during the process. Commissions cannot be cancelled once work is underway.
6. Returns and Refunds

7. Limitation of Liability
My liability is limited to the purchase price of the item. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from a purchase.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

Packaging
Every original painting and Everydays item is carefully packaged by hand before dispatch. Original canvases are wrapped in glassine paper, cushioned with bubble wrap, and shipped in a rigid box or reinforced tube depending on the size and format of the work. I take packaging seriously — your piece should arrive exactly as it left my studio.
Processing Time
Orders are processed within 3–5 working days of payment being confirmed. Commissions and larger works may require additional time — I will communicate this clearly before dispatch.

Shipping Costs

Tracking
All shipments include tracking. You will receive your tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update after dispatch.
Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, or other charges may apply upon arrival in your country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost. I am not able to predict or control these charges — please check with your local customs authority before ordering if you are unsure.
All customs declarations will accurately state the contents and value of the shipment. I am unable to mark items as gifts or undervalue them on customs forms.
Damage in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please:
Photograph the damaged item and all packaging immediately
Contact me at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery
Keep all packaging materials until the matter is resolved
I will work with you promptly to resolve the situation, which may include a refund, repair, or insurance claim depending on the circumstances. Claims made after 48 hours cannot be accepted.
Lost Shipments
If your tracked shipment shows no movement for more than 10 working days beyond the estimated delivery window, please contact me and I will investigate with the courier or postal service on your behalf.

Original Fine Art
All original paintings are one of a kind. I take great care in describing and photographing each work accurately, including dimensions, medium, and texture. Please review all images and details carefully before purchasing.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided:
The work is returned in its original condition and packaging
You notify me at [email protected] within 14 days of delivery
Return shipping is arranged and paid by the buyer
The work arrives back safely — you are responsible for the work until it is received by me.
Once the returned work has been inspected and confirmed undamaged, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued within 14 days. Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.
Commissions are non-refundable once work has begun. A deposit of 50% is required to begin a commission. If you cancel before work begins, the deposit will be refunded in full.
Damage in Transit
If your artwork arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and the packaging immediately and contact me at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery. I will work with you to resolve the matter, which may include a refund, replacement, or insurance claim depending on the circumstances.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer protection law, including your right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. This right does not apply to custom or bespoke commissions made to your specification.
