Illusion is about how perception changes when we stay in the same place and keep looking at something for too long. A problem, desire, fear, or hope can begin to feel larger, closer, more beautiful, or more threatening simply because our attention keeps returning to it.
The trees and forest represent what remains relatively constant. The changing appearance of the moon reflects movement, perspective, and the way our own perception shifts over time. What we focus on can change in scale without the thing itself necessarily changing.
