This screenprint of the Meath landscape was printed in Nov 09 and consists of 14 layers, and is printed in a Limited Edition of 10 prints.
The print depicts the feature known as the Banqueting Hall, on the Hill of Tara (also known as the Hill of the Kings). The Banqueting Hall is a long, narrow rectangular passageway on the North side of the Hill, and is aligned with the Neolithic Passage Tomb known as the Mound of the Hostages, further to the South side of the hill.

Based in Ratoath, Co. Meath, I am an artist and printmaker specializing in original Irish landscape prints. My work explores various traditional and contemporary techniques, including screenprint, carborundum, drypoint, etching, and chine collé, to capture the unique spirit of the Irish landscape. I like to focus on the ever-changing Irish light, from misty mornings and dramatic cloudscapes to the “golden hour” over the hills.
