Naivist in style, this round acrylic monoprint is inspired by quiet evening strolls in the countryside. Mainly using blues and greens, with contrasting orange, the piece evokes the calm of late summer nights. Golden metallic paint in the background brings a little sparkle in places, adding an ethereal touch. The image is 8″ round and comes in 3 cm deep wooden shadowbox frame.
I’m interested in exploring connections, both internal as well as our relationships to each other and the world around us. My work is intuitive and comes with many rough edges, reflecting on the feeling of walking slightly out of step with the modern world. I’m based in Dublin, where I mainly work with acrylics and ink, creating one-off prints and mixed media pieces.
