1. Overview This guide helps Irish Artmart artists identify and protect themselves from phishing and scam messages impersonating our platform.
2. Known Scam Example Scammers are sending fake messages from email addresses such as ar*****@***il.com and linking to fraudulent websites such as come.ac/Artmart. These messages may falsely claim there is “unauthorised activity” on your account.
3. Red Flags to Watch For
- Emails from non-official domains (e.g., Gmail addresses)
- Urgent language pressuring you to click links
- Links to unfamiliar or shortened URLs
- Messages received through your store contact form
- Requests to “verify your account” or enter login details
4. How to Stay Safe
- Do NOT click suspicious links
- Do NOT reply to unexpected security alerts
- Verify sender addresses—official emails end with @irishartmart.ie
- Mark suspicious emails as Spam/Phishing

Payment Process and Shipping Guidelines on Irish Artmart
This is a crucial notification regarding the payment process and shipping procedures for artworks sold on Irish Artmart.
Payment Transactions via Stripe.com: All transactions on Irish Artmart are facilitated through the secure payment platform Stripe.com. It ensures a safe and reliable payment experience for both buyers and sellers.
Notification from Irish Artmart: Upon the successful sale of your artwork, you will receive a notification email from Irish Artmart (in**@**********rt.ie). This email will contain details about the sale and instructions on how to proceed.
Setting Up Automatic Payments with Stripe: For efficient payment processing, we recommend setting up an account with Stripe for automatic payments. If you do not have an active Stripe account configured for automatic payments, the funds from the sale will be temporarily held in the Irish Artmart Stripe account until you do so.
Shipping Guidelines: Please refrain from shipping your sold artwork until you receive a confirmation of payment. You can set your own shipping rates conveniently through your Irish Artmart dashboard.
Caution Regarding 3rd Party Emails: Exercise caution with any third-party emails claiming payment. Genuine notifications will only be sent from Irish Artmart (in**@**********rt.ie). If you receive an email from a third party stating a payment was made and it is not confirmed by Irish Artmart, and you did not receive an official order confirmation, do not engage with the email. This is likely a scam, and your immediate attention is required.
