I am from a small village in Westmeath, from an early age , art has been my passion. I remember spending hours doodling and sketching, lost in my own creative world. However, as life got busier, I drifted away from my artistic pursuits. But over the last couple of years, I’ve found my way back to it. It has been a comforting and exhilarating experience, creating a variety of artwork has become by sanctuary again, a place where I can express myself freely. My journey began with a love for realistic art, which I still enjoy, but over time, I’ve delved into the realms of abstraction, finding inspiration in the works of Kandinsky and the bold geometry of cubism, using the medium of chalk pastel to create the effect I am after.
