Description
This is the first of two connected pieces, “Souls in the Stars…” & “…Remembered Down Below”.
We are forever looking up at the sky and its beautiful colours, imagining the stars in the heavens
watching over us. One day, our own souls may fly up to join them, reuniting with those who have
gone before us and drifting peacefully for eternity among those stars in the vast universe.
This piece aims to convey the beautiful and vibrant colours we see when looking at the Milky Way,
and the darker shadows veiling the brilliant light of the souls that remain out of reach. Acrylic on deep canvas.
