My name is Bill Godfrey. I’m a wildlife artist based in Co Mayo, West Ireland. My style is near-realism using oils, gouache watercolour and mixed media. Wildlife subjects include, hare, heron, otter, woodcock, eagle, owl, pheasant, duck, puffins and popular garden birds. In addition, I paint larger format paintings of commissions and Galway Hookers in oils. One of my Galway Hooker paintings is on permanent display in Katie’s Claddagh Cottage, Galway.
