This painting was carried out when “distance” unfortunately found its way into our everyday life. The painting is a time capsule in its self as it encapsulates a time when the world was at a standstill and human interaction was minuet. Of course this painting is open to interpretation which is why I think the painting is bound to make a great conversational piece. Quarantine with loved ones has caused strain and make or break arguments thus creating distance in relationships
