Description
This is my take on a beautiful area in Connemara called Derrigimlagh Bog.
A wet and marshy bog with an atlantic shore makes for a most beautiful scene with a colourful gorse. I love to paint the peat lands of Ireland but also feel it is important to draw attention to how beautiful they are.
Tangy oranges….yellow orchres, dark earthy browns , voilet and pinky heathers and mossy greens.
Framed, by local framer Christian at Frame for Art Headford.
Measuring 96cm x35 x 6cm. Off white with a grain.
