The print depicts a calm day at Dooneen Pier on the Dingle Peninsula of Co. Kerry, in Ireland. The view looks westwards towards Sybil Point and the Three Sisters headland. Barely visible in the centre distance is a glimpse of Inishtooskert and Tearacht Island.
This screenprint of the Kerry landscape was printed in May 09 and consists of 10 layers, and is printed in a Limited Edition of 16 prints.

Based in Ratoath, Co. Meath, I am an artist and printmaker specializing in original Irish landscape prints. My work explores various traditional and contemporary techniques, including screenprint, carborundum, drypoint, etching, and chine collé, to capture the unique spirit of the Irish landscape. I like to focus on the ever-changing Irish light, from misty mornings and dramatic cloudscapes to the “golden hour” over the hills.
