A golden anchor symbolising Hope

This painting, titled “Hope I.,” was the first painting I made when I arrived in Ireland. It depicts a golden anchor, which was modeled after my mother’s medallion. This medal has three parts: an anchor, a cross, and a heart; these symbolize faith, hope, and love. I needed a great amount of hope, love, and faith in myself and my future, moving to a foreign country. This is why I created this painting.
