Description
In this composition, I centred around a large, abstract water lily. The colours and textures are layered and blended, creating a sense of depth and movement within the flower. The interplay of colours and brushstrokes enhances the dynamic nature of the painting. The dark teal background strongly contrasts with the pink and blue, highlighting the water lily.
The artistic medium is acrylic on canvas. The style is abstract, emphasising colour, form, and texture rather than precise representation. I utilised broad, expressive brushstrokes, creating a spontaneous and energetic quality.
The light turquoise border at the bottom of the painting indicates a water line. The overall atmosphere is serene yet vibrant, evoking a sense of wonder and a range of emotions.
