Description

This piece is called Hope because white paint on the face of a person of colour signifies hope, purity and light. I am inspired by face decoration of all types.

I am an artist working in Oils and Watercolour. I work in a realistic style. I enjoy capturing the detail in the ordinary and the extraordinary. My favourite subjects to paint are masks, glass in all forms, still life, animals and flowers. Although I primarily work in Oils I have recently started exploring dance themes in watercolour and ink.
