The print depicts a frosty morning view in the Glen of Imaal. The view is from the base of Cemetery Hill near Seskin Bridge, looking across the valley towards Keadeen Mountain to the South.
This screenprint of the Wicklow landscape was printed in Nov 09 and consists of 10 layers, and is printed in a Limited Edition of 10 prints.

Based in Ratoath, Co. Meath, I am an artist and printmaker specializing in original Irish landscape prints. My work explores various traditional and contemporary techniques, including screenprint, carborundum, drypoint, etching, and chine collé, to capture the unique spirit of the Irish landscape. I like to focus on the ever-changing Irish light, from misty mornings and dramatic cloudscapes to the “golden hour” over the hills.
