Description
The technique used is dip pen and brush inking.
The work is drawn on thick 200 g/m2 paper.
In my abstract work, I try to contrast the multitude and precision of meticulous pen inking with a single, bold brush stroke.
For this piece I first drew one single bold brush stroke. The fluidity of movement is important to me which means that when I draw the stroke my mind needs to be totally focus. Then I added a lot of details in a square shapes, living blank edges.
