In Irish tradition, the hare has long been connected to mystery, the unseen world, and fairy folklore. It is said to move between worlds the real and the magical carrying ancient legends across the green Irish fields.
I combined this symbolic creature with the Fairy House, places that still inspire fascination and respect here in Ireland. As a Brazilian living in Ireland, I’m deeply enchanted by how mysticism still lives within the landscape and everyday stories.

Born in Mundo Novo, Bahia, visual artist Tarcisio Marques Petilo carries the vibrant energy of Brazil in his roots. Having developed his artistic practice during his studies at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) in Argentina, Petilo materializes his journey between different cultures through the fusion of works on paper and the precision of linocut printmaking. His creative process bridges two worlds: while his abstract pieces are purely intuitive, born from deep emotion, his figurative art is meticulously developed through keen observation. Ultimately, his work reflects what he experiences as he embraces new horizons.
