A minimalist, abstract portrayal of a deserted forest in the depths of Winter. Underlayers of loosely applied acrylics, followed by oils, cold wax and sprinklings of sand, worked in with palette knife. Minimal use of oils and solvents were then applied on top. Scratches and rough surface texture add tension to this piece.
