Emanuela Carvisiglia was born in Naples, and she graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Naples with a higher degree in Visual Arts. During those formative years, she had the chance to learn from renowned local artists.
Emanuela’s art is visually striking. The pursuit of extreme realism in her subjects, combined with the definition of her personal style through the use of colours, is a testament to she’s constant commitment to perfecting her work and communicating her vision.
She lived some of her best days on the Mediterranean seaside, and that, along with the Renaissance masterpieces ever present in Italy, deeply influenced her choice of subjects and themes.
The main themes and inspiration for Emanuela’s art are water and light. She takes inspiration from classical art and interprets it in her own way through a realistic depiction of how light plays on the water’s surface, giving a twist to the way reality is mirrored.
