Designed by Antoni Gaudi in modernisme architectural style. The building is located on Passeig de Gracia. Its style employs organic lines and trencadís which is a layering of ceramic tiles over mortar. The building is infused with colour, texture and vibrant light. I was enthralled by the intricate details of the mosaic work, the fluidity of line and shape and the boldness of colour.
I am an illustrator, graphic designer and painter currently based in Barcelona. My work is a blend of portraiture, architectural studies and photorealism. I have a deep passion for photography and documenting through illustration. The majority of my paintings are taken from my own photos or live sketches of locations around the world.
