Description
This image comes from my visit to New Orleans, during the Mardi Gras festival. The streets were filled by a sea of colour. I was enthralled by vibrance and movement of the city. This particular image is one of many I created of the well known street cars. I embellished the colours and layout as it was an image I was constantly changing and adjusting. The original drawing was very plain and mainly focused on line and shadow. However, I chose to opt for a graphic style as I wanted to create a striking image that just focused on colour.
