Description
‘Weaving a Dream’. This piece features a mermaid wrapped around the moon, straddling both earth and sea. The gilded text reads: ‘Under the slumbering sun and the dreamy stars, the moon stands sentinel, the axis of their world.’
I opted for more muted colors this time, experimenting with water and pigment effects to see what shapes would emerge from the initial chaos. The mermaid, fish, jellyfish, butterfly, and birds appeared naturally, and I simply refined their shapes and added details.
This is a 35x35cm (13.8×13.8″) watercolor painting with tiny touches of liquid metal paint on 300g/m² cold-pressed paper.
