Description
(2023), oil on canvas, 30 x 30 cm
Contemporary Painter - BA Art from Carlow IT. Specialising in abstracts, still life, landscapes & portraiture.
€220.00
This painting was created for an exhibition titled ‘Levitate’ and the theme was to explore meditation or a personal journey.
The inspiration behind this colour palette comes from the robes of the Buddhist monks. Orange (or more precisely saffron) was the colour of illumination, the highest state of perfection. The clouds represent calmness and softness – something many of us strive for in our busy, stressful lives.
