Abstract intuitive mutimedia piece on 26″ x 26″ stretched canvas
This intuitive piece was painted over a number of weekends in 2018 a year after the loss of my mother who was my best friend and almost like a sister to me.
Using acrylics and acrylic spray paint I placed my tumbling and roiling emotions on the canvas and strangely felt the end product was otherworldly.
To me it appears more celestial than emotional, yet perhaps that’s what creativity can achieve, turning the emotional into the celestial.
This piece featured in February’s edition of The World of Interiors publication in the UK.
I was surprised and delighted to be asked to submit a work to a high end editorial amongst many more established artists.
Hopefully it catches an eye here also.
