Description
This work was the beginning of the paintings I was inspired by the descriptions of Paradise landscapes in the Quran.
Paradise. What it is like, everyone imagines it differently, but however we imagine it, it is certainly not what the Creator created it to be. We are limited by the Almighty and cannot imagine these flavours of Paradise. The Quran talks a lot about the atmosphere of Paradise (Jannat).
The Quran speaks a lot about the atmosphere of Paradise (Jannat).
This is my perception, or rather, part of it, I feel that this place is exactly in such shades in my feelings it is such a place where you do not feel hard, and you do not think about troubles and sufferings, because they are not in this place.
I’m sharing with you a small part of what I have.
Fatimie Ashyrova is a self-taught artist born in Uzbekistan in 1979. Although her passion for art began as a child, life led her down other paths until she returned to painting with a deep devotion at the age of 37.
Fatimie now lives in Ireland, after being forced to move due to the turbulent situation in the country, and began her artistic journey from scratch, independently studying and mastering the techniques of working with oil, watercolour and acrylics.
Her work combines realism, symbolic ornament and textural abstraction. Inspired by the traditions of her homeland, she often replaces human figures with symbolic floral forms in keeping with Islamic aesthetics, telling stories of culture, identity and resilience.
In her recent abstract series, she applies layered, textured brushstrokes, creating serene, imaginary worlds inspired by the Quranic vision of Paradise, and creates abstract floral paintings.
Fatimie’s art invites viewers to experience peace, spiritual reflection and quiet beauty found in both memory and imagination.
