Description
This is a fluid artwork or also known as paint pouring piece. This is where I use acrylic paint to create an abstract painting with swirls of colours. I went with a sea based colour scheme for the artwork. There are different shades of blue and purple swirling around the painting similar to how the ocean moves. There are some dashes of red and white through the painting as well to add some contrast and definition to the piece. I have always love the ocean and the coastal landscapes of Ireland. I wanted to represent the ocean and my feelings towards it within this painting. The ocean is an extradorinary thing that we know very little about due to its vastness. The feeling I wanted to capture within the painting was the mysterious wonders of the ocean, that it brings you deeper and deeper within the piece to make it seem to have no end.
