Oils on canvas…contemporary painting
This intuitive piece in oils is open to interpretation of course.
Personally on completing the piece I felt it had a feeling of contemporary prophecy perhaps.
A city across an expanse of water appears to overheat from a natural cause..( perhaps) while a spiritual figure observes in the foreground.
Is redemption on the cards for this civilisation?
This piece featured in January’s edition of Tatler magazine in the UK.
As an emerging artist I was surprised and delighted to be invited to submit a piece of work for publication.

This piece was painted instinctually in oils and to me it depicts a narrative which ties in with contemporary world issues…a city can be seen overheating from a source natural ( or otherwise) while it appears a biblical figure in the foreground watches…in order to redeerm and save?
This piece was featured in the Art Curated advertorial section of January’s edition of the popular UK lifetsyle publication Tatler…
As an emerging artist I was surprised and delighted to be invited to submit a piece to this editorial.
