Hi, I’m Alina – an artist based in Naas, Ireland, originally from Romania. Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I come from a family of artists, each with their own unique style, and I’ve been painting since I was a child. I graduated from the High School of Art in Romania with a major in Sculpture, and during my younger years, I had the joy of participating in art competitions and camps, including earning 4th place in a National Sculpture Competition.
After moving to Ireland 15 years ago, I rekindled my passion for painting, fitting it around everyday life and my job. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of selling my artworks around the world, connecting with people through the joy of art.
My work spans a variety of themes – from birds, animals, and wildlife, to horses, cows, flowers, landscapes, and more recently, sunsets over the sea, boats, and still life. I especially love painting animals, capturing their unique expressions, personalities, and emotions through fine detail – every hair, whisker, or wrinkle matters to me. Each painting is a little world of its own, filled with color, emotion, and calm.
I’m always exploring new techniques and styles, and I believe in constantly learning and growing as an artist. My goal is simple: to bring joy, warmth, and a splash of color into your life through my work.
I’m a proud member of the Naas Art Group, and this year I had the pleasure of participating in the Kilteel St. Brigid’s Arts Weekend, with more exhibitions to come. I’m also a single mom to a wonderful boy, and I hope to pass on to him the love of creativity that has shaped my life.
Thank you for supporting my journey – your kindness and encouragement help me grow as an artist and keep doing what I love.
