My product is all handcrafted by me, Chales Malaya I use are traditional techniques for most the pieces of art , and there are all unique mainly I use Irish local timber as Bog oak, Bog pine, Yew tree, Beech tree and dark oak.

I am originally from Pemba, Mozambique Africa I belong to the famous African tribe of artisans the Makonde. are world renowned for their carving.the tradition of wood carving has been passed down to me through generations of wood carvers.i am built on Makonde traditional style of wood carving to develop are unique contemporary interpretations of Makonde culture .my wish is to represent mysterious world of rites and tradition of Makonde tribe through wood carving.
