Original paintings in oil, acrylic. Realism, floral abstractions, and works with traditional oriental ornaments

Description

This is an original acrylic painting featuring an intricate, abstract design inspired by traditional Ikat patterns, often found in Central Asian and Middle Eastern textiles. The artwork captures the timeless elegance of cultural motifs, reimagined with a contemporary aesthetic. The symmetrical design stands out with vibrant shades of indigo, turquoise, golden ochre, and soft accents of purple and pink, creating a dynamic yet harmonious color palette.
The motifs are reminiscent of ornamental patterns seen in Uzbek, Turkish, and Persian art forms, as well as influences from Southeast Asian and Indian Ikat weaves. These patterns often symbolize harmony, balance, and cultural heritage. This piece belongs to the category of abstract decorative art and is ideal for those who appreciate both traditional and modern styles.
Painted on a white background, the painting combines bold geometric shapes with soft colour transitions to create a unique visual rhythm. The use of flat blocks of colour and precise symmetry gives the painting a modern minimalist feel, while the cultural patterns bring depth and richness.

Fatimie Ashyrova is a self-taught artist born in Uzbekistan in 1979. Although her passion for art began as a child, life led her down other paths until she returned to painting with a deep devotion at the age of 37.

Fatimie now lives in Ireland, after being forced to move due to the turbulent situation in the country, and began her artistic journey from scratch, independently studying and mastering the techniques of working with oil, watercolour and acrylics.

Her work combines realism, symbolic ornament and textural abstraction. Inspired by the traditions of her homeland, she often replaces human figures with symbolic floral forms in keeping with Islamic aesthetics, telling stories of culture, identity and resilience.
In her recent abstract series, she applies layered, textured brushstrokes, creating serene, imaginary worlds inspired by the Quranic vision of Paradise, and creates abstract floral paintings.

Fatimie’s art invites viewers to experience peace, spiritual reflection and quiet beauty found in both memory and imagination.
