This painting measures 60×60.cm on stretched canvas frame. It is from a series Men of Achill and is inspired by a Paul Henry work. The. fishermen returning home assisted by a light breeze in their traditional currach and sail interrupt the pervading silence only with the oars shearing the water under an ocre sky and hugh mountain.
