In portrait orientation it is a contemporary abstract painting inspired by the lineup of threads on a traditional weaving loom, as seen on many school trips to Avoca Handweavers in Co. Wicklow Ireland – hence the name The Warp. Two paintings in one. In landscape orientation it is a seascape going on forever.
