Embrace the crazy

Artist Store: Rukmini's Store

Recently I have been following a lot of fashion influencers and they have been posting the most intresting content on Haute Couture.

Fashion is mesmerizing as it is someone’s imagination and passion worn by the best in the business of showing that art off.

This piece was going now where until I decide to embrace the mess and the weirdness of it. I realised it was a piece created which related to all the unreal and stunning outfits I have been looking at.
Here I wanted to make the viewer feel confused and lost but in a good sort of Alice in Wonderland kind of way.
The crazy eyes represent the people invited to see these shows and also each designer and team marvelling at their creations.

Also there had to be gold to represent the glitz element.

Moving to Dublin 4 years ago and changing careers has been a huge motivation behind all my pieces.

I love to represent the vibrant flavors of India my home country in my art through color and texture. I want people to look at the colors and lines and feel freedom and a sense of purpose.

I love to believe my art invokes these beautiful lines by the famous poet R.Tagore “Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free” as freedom of expression is very important in my work.

I am passionate about art and in most forms and everyday in my studio I learn something about myself and the work I create. I am inspired my Dublin and her people and India and her culture and that motives my abstract pieces.

I want to bring this unity and freedom to anyone who buys or enjoys my work.
