I'm a Contemporary/Abstract artist.  Inspired by the landscape, exploring the changing light on the subject, which instantly evolves into something remarkably altered by light and shadow, using colour, line and form as a conduit to abstract, express and encapsulate these contradictions, which excite and inspire me, resulting in pieces of artwork combining reality and imagination.

Description

Part of my Border and Boundaries Series. This piece was inspired by the irrigated arid land of Velez Blanco, Joya-Air residency.
The land had to be carefully tendered and manicured to enable direction of the precious commodity of water to sustain crops/trees, in this unforgiving landscape.
