Description
This painting is a meeting of two eternal forces – fire and water. The layered textures suggests conversation rather than battle- fire doesn’t extinguish water, and the water doesn’t smother fire. Together they create a space where both elements coexist in motion. It’s a visual dialogue – sometimes tense, sometimes tender.
In their dialogue there is a reminder that opposites can belong together- burning and cooling, clashing and embracing, until they create a living harmony .
I am self-taught abstract artist, born in Poland, based in Cork since 2012. I am drawn to abstraction because it allows me to express what cannot be said in words — the invisible rhythms of thought, memory and mood. The abstract I create focuses on the tension between chaos and harmony — contrasting vibrant colour fields with subtle marks. Each painting is an emotional landscape, inviting the viewer to interpret their own meaning through colour, form, and texture. My process is rooted in intuition, emotion, and spontaneity. Working primarily with acrylics, I let each painting evolve organically, guided by movement, energy, and internal reflection rather than pre-planned composition. The result is a body of work that explores transformation, presence, and the unseen dimensions of human experience. Ultimately, my goal is to create visual experiences that evoke curiosity, reflection, and emotional resonance. I see my art as a bridge between inner feeling and outer form — abstract, but deeply personal.
